Key Questions Answered
An eyewitness who was at Lohagad Fort on June 18 reported seeing Siya kick Ketan's leg while Chetan pushed him into the valley. The witness initially kept quiet due to threats that he would also be thrown down, but later came forward to police after seeing news reports.
Police seized the Jupiter scooter used by Chetan to travel from Pune to Lohagad to avoid four-wheeler toll booth tracking. Although they avoided tolls, CCTV footage captured the scooter and the suspects' movements, which was matched with an old traffic challan record.
Because the case relies heavily on circumstantial evidence with no direct physical eyewitness or CCTV footage of the final push, police sought a polygraph test to uncover hidden digital data and search histories regarding the murder method.
