Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced an increase in the monthly honorarium for village watchmen from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,500.

Village watchmen and their families will receive cashless medical facilities of up to Rs 5 lakh per year.

The recent honorarium increase and medical benefits announced in Bareilly directly benefit 68,000 village watchmen across Uttar Pradesh.
