On the ninth day of Sharad Navratri, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that over the past 9.5 years, Uttar Pradesh has transformed from a riot-prone, laggard BIMARU state into an economic growth engine. He highlighted significant improvements in law and order, a three-fold increase in GSDP and per capita income, over ₹50 lakh crore in investment proposals, the revival of the MSME sector, and the creation of millions of jobs.

The Chief Minister noted that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh suffered from extreme anarchy, rampant mafia rule, and frequent pre-festival riots that forced parents to send their daughters out of state. After 2017, the double-engine government implemented a zero-tolerance policy against crime, established the rule of law, and turned the state into a peaceful region of festivals.

Uttar Pradesh has seen its agricultural growth rise to 18 percent, and 60 percent of India's expressway network is now located in the state. Large factories have increased 2.5 times to 35,000, startups have grown past 24,000, and transparent recruitment processes have provided 950,000 government jobs alongside millions of employment opportunities through revived MSMEs and investments.
