Key Questions Answered
Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel was considered one of the leading candidates to replace Ajit Agarkar as the West Zone representative in the BCCI's senior men's cricket selection committee.
Parthiv Patel did not apply for the vacant selection committee post within the stipulated deadline, clearing the path for Pragyan Ojha to continue as chairman for the remainder of his term.
Rather than joining the senior selection committee, Parthiv Patel is more likely to continue working with the Gujarat Titans coaching staff and serving as a commentator.
