Key Questions Answered
To accommodate the massive influx of over 30,000 daily devotees, the temple implemented a new digital QR code payment system for service receipts. Additionally, excellent arrangements were made for smooth darshan, Theertha Prasada, free afternoon meals (Dasoha), special KSRTC bus services, and newly opened special counters.
The administration revised the daily darshan hours to provide visitors with an extra hour of access, reducing the afternoon break from two hours (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM) to just one hour (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM). Continuous darshan now operates from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM, except during brief periods for Mahamangalarthi.
Unlike other temples where festivals end during Pattanaje, Kukke Subramanya's outdoor festival season officially concludes on Jyeshtha Shuddha Shashti. After the final silver chariot and palanquin processions, the deity re-enters the sanctum sanctorum, pausing outdoor rituals until they resume on Deepavali Amavasya.
