A total of 17 stations are fully ready for passenger service on the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro line following safety approval for 5 additional stations by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety.
To provide easy access from the metro stations directly to offices and homes, road and street light works are progressing rapidly around the stations with costs shared equally between PMRDA and MIDC, alongside revamping the surrounding areas.
The remaining works across the entire route are planned to be completed by December 2026, with some remaining portions scheduled to be finished by March 2027.
