According to the India Meteorological Department forecast for October 6, a yellow alert has been issued for Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg in the Konkan division, as well as for the Kolhapur and Satara ghat regions in Western Maharashtra.
No weather warnings have been issued for most districts in Vidarbha, including Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, and Yavatmal. However, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rain, and gusty winds reaching 40 to 50 km/h are expected at isolated places in Gadchiroli.
The weather is expected to remain dry in Palghar, Thane, and Mumbai on October 6.
