Mysuru Dasara 2025: Elephant Prashanth to Carry Golden Howdah

•The 54-year-old experienced elephant Prashanth will carry the golden Howdah in this year's world-famous Mysuru Dasara Jumbo Savari.
•With 18 years of Dasara experience, Prashanth will shoulder the responsibility of carrying the 750 kg Howdah for the very first time.
•Abhimanyu, who successfully carried the Howdah for many years, will participate as the Nishane elephant in the upcoming procession.
•Gopi has been assigned the role of the Naupat elephant, while Kaveri and Rupa will serve as Kumki elephants to accompany the Howdah bearer.
•Dhananjaya has been selected as the reserve elephant, ensuring all safety and alternative arrangements for the grand Vijayadashami procession on October 21.

The 54-year-old experienced elephant Prashanth will carry the golden Howdah weighing around 750 kg for the first time.

Abhimanyu, who previously carried the Howdah for many years, will participate as the Nishane elephant leading the procession.

Dhananjaya has been selected as the reserve elephant to provide alternative arrangements if any unexpected issues arise.
