For SBI salary package account holders, free monthly transactions at other banks' ATMs have been reduced from 10 to 5. Exceeding this limit incurs Rs 23 plus GST for financial transactions and Rs 11 plus GST for non-financial transactions. Additionally, basic savings bank deposit (BSBD) account holders get 4 free cash withdrawals monthly, after which each withdrawal costs Rs 15 plus GST.
The deadline for submitting tax audit reports for assessment year 2026-27 has been extended from September 30 to October 21, 2026. Furthermore, the final due date for filing income tax returns (ITR) for the concerned taxpayers has been moved from October 31 to November 21, 2026.
Starting October 1, 2026, biometric Aadhaar authentication is mandatory for domestic LPG customers to receive subsidized refills at retail selling prices. Customers who have previously completed authentication do not need to repeat the procedure, which can be done during delivery, at the gas distributor's showroom, or via the marketing company's mobile app.
