Key Questions Answered
Javed Akhtar stated that the handful of people who create songs or movies are not the problem, but rather the society that embraces and makes them blockbusters is rotten from within. He emphasized that the audience should introspect instead of merely blaming the film industry.
According to Javed Akhtar, a maximum of seven to eight people are involved in creating a supposedly flashy or obscene song, which includes the writer, music composer, singer, dancer, cameraman, and director.
Javed Akhtar noted that the society previously appreciated immortal and profound works of art such as 'Do Bigha Zamin', 'Bandini', 'Sujata', 'Hira Moti', and 'Mother India' when they were born in the same industry.
