Key Questions Answered
Directed by David Dhawan, 'Aankhen' became the biggest hit of 1993, featuring Govinda in a double role alongside Kader Khan as his father, Hasmukh Rai.
In 'Dulhe Raja', Kader Khan plays K.K. Singhania, who owns a five-star hotel, while Govinda plays Raja, who opens a dhaba right in front of it. Their journey from conflict to Raja eventually becoming Singhania's son-in-law creates a cult classic comedy.
As Kader Khan's health began to decline around 2013, he gradually stepped away from the limelight, ending his on-screen and writing collaborations with Govinda. This marked the loss of Govinda's primary creative support and mentor, which heavily impacted his career and box office success.
