Key Questions Answered
During the Nandigram by-election campaign, local eyewitnesses and Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari claimed that Mamata Banerjee's 2021 leg injury was a drama and that no actual fracture occurred. Adhikari cited a hospital report to back allegations of false propaganda.
Mamata Banerjee served a legal notice to the Director, MSVP, and HOD of Neurology at SSKM Hospital on October 5. The notice claims that the hospital breached medical confidentiality under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 by presenting her 2021 medical records.
According to a report dated March 11, 2021, from the Department of Radio Diagnosis at the Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, there was no evidence of any fracture or dislocation in Mamata Banerjee's leg.
