On the night of September 20/21, masked individuals arrived with three JCBs on the Bariawan-Kichaucha road, forcibly demolishing multiple houses and shops. Following this illegal demolition, administrative action resulted in five police officers being suspended due to negligence.
Cabinet Minister OP Rajbhar visited the incident site to meet the affected families and promised to arrange interest-free loans of five lakh rupees each to help them rebuild their homes.
A criminal case under serious sections was registered against 50 to 60 unknown individuals, and police have successfully arrested two of the main accused while special teams continue searching for others.
