The Rs 293.67 crore Jasidih bypass rail line project inaugurated by Eastern Railway directly connects Kumradhab Rohini and Deoghar. It acts like an express flyover for trains to bypass Jasidih station completely, eliminating tedious engine reversal procedures and reducing passenger travel times.
The bypass line eliminates the time-consuming process where trains previously had to enter Jasidih station to uncouple, reverse, and reattach engines with mandatory brake tests. Passenger and freight trains between Dumka and Godda can now avoid operational bottlenecks, waiting times, and heavy platform congestion.
The project was officially inaugurated through a grand ceremony held at Deoghar station under the leadership of Eastern Railway General Manager Smt. Gitika Pandey. Following the launch, a special train carrying senior railway officials ran from Deoghar to Madhupur via the newly launched bypass line.
