Fraudsters posing as CBI and ED officials contacted the 75-year-old woman on her landline on April 6, claiming her phone number was linked to a money laundering case. They subjected her to continuous psychological pressure and video calls for 22 days, threatened her family with arrest, and ultimately visited her home to seize assets and property documents.

The woman transferred 3 lakh rupees from the Bank of Maharashtra to a specific account, deposited gold to take a loan of approximately 4,95,250 rupees which was also sent to the fraudsters, and handed over the original documents of her house valued at over 2 crore rupees.
