Bomb blast at MLA's residence: Seven held from PRE-PAK outfit
- •Manipur security forces have arrested seven members of the PRE-PAK (Pro) outfit in connection with a bomb blast at a sitting MLA's residence and an illegal youth recruitment drive.
- •The arrests were made following coordinated search operations conducted by the Imphal West Police commando unit at multiple locations on October 4.
- •Police identified two female suspects among the arrested who were directly involved in the bomb blast that occurred at the Konthoujam Assembly Constituency MLA residence on August 28, 2026.
- •During the operations, security forces also rescued a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) and seized a yellow Honda Activa scooter used by the suspects.
