This year, the puja committee is celebrating the birth centenary of Bengal's legendary actor Uttam Kumar with a theme titled 'Oti Uttam' (Supremely Excellent).
The housing estate features retro-style illumination to resemble a film studio district, decorated with movie posters of Uttam Kumar from the main gate to the pandal, alongside a 200-meter-long traditional alpona entrance.
Breaking traditional norms, the organizers previously created a themed pandal replicating the Kedarnath Temple and also incorporated Bengal's dying wooden dolls inspired by Jamini Roy's art.
