Key Questions Answered
The three singers, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, and the late KK, recorded the song separately. Each of them sang the entire track, and during post-production, specific vocal parts were chosen and combined to create a seamless harmony.
The song Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe is from the 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai, which starred Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles.
Ehsaan Noorani recalled that when the song was played in a Mumbai club, almost everyone rushed to the dance floor, causing it to become overwhelmingly crowded. The track helped change the mindset that playing Hindi songs in clubs was not cool at the time.
