Key Questions Answered
To find your birth number, you simply add the digits of your date of birth together until a single-digit number is obtained. For example, if you were born on the 27th of any month, you calculate 2+7, which equals 9, making your birth number 9.
People with the birth number 1, which corresponds to birth dates 1, 10, 19, and 28, should worship Maa Kushmanda. This form of the Goddess is associated with planet Surya and is traditionally worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri by offering malpua.
Birth number 4, covering those born on the 4th, 13th, 22nd, or 31st of any month, is ruled by the shadow planet Rahu. Individuals with this number are advised to worship Maa Mahagauri, the eighth form of Maa Durga, to help calm anxieties and neutralize negative effects.
