Papankusha Ekadashi is observed on October 22, 2026, coinciding with a Thursday fast and Vishnu worship. Devotees can perform Lord Vishnu's worship during the auspicious Shubh-Uttam muhurta from 06:26 AM to 07:51 AM. The Ekadashi tithi lasts until 02:47 PM before transitioning to Dwadashi.
Bhadra begins at 06:26 AM and stays on Earth until 02:47 PM on October 22, 2026. Because its residence is on Earth during this time, people are advised to avoid performing any auspicious or new work to prevent potential obstacles.
During the Papankusha Ekadashi worship, devotees should offer yellow flowers, basil leaves, panchamrita, fruits, incense, lamps, betel leaves, betel nuts, cardamom, turmeric, and jaggery to Lord Vishnu. Fasting on this day and listening to the sacred story helps wash away sins.
