Key Questions Answered

According to the IMD, the weather in Delhi-NCR will remain dry and clear with no rain expected for the next few days. From September 30 to October 5, maximum temperatures will range between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures are expected to range from 21 to 24 degrees Celsius.

The cessation of rain and clear weather have caused Delhi-NCR's air quality to decline, pushing Delhi's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) into the 'yellow zone' (moderate category). Certain areas have even recorded poor air quality levels, including Ghaziabad where specific pockets reached the poor category.

In Noida, the AQI was recorded at 122 in Sector-125, 107 in Sector-62, 122 in Sector-1, and 124 in Sector-116. In Ghaziabad, air quality readings included 39 in Govindpuram, 100 in Indirapuram, 151 in Loni, 111 in Sanjay Nagar, 141 in Vasundhara, and 107 in Wave City.
