Starting from the 2026-27 academic session, the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) will conduct Class 10 board exams twice a year to reduce student stress and avoid waiting for the next academic year. The first exam is compulsory, and students can take the second exam to improve their marks in up to three subjects.

According to reports, the first RBSE Class 10 board exam is expected to take place in February-March, while the second exam will be held in May-June.

Under the new policy, the terms "fail" or "supplementary" will no longer be written on any student's marksheet. Instead, examinees scoring less than 33 percent in any two subjects are permitted to sit for the second improvement exam for Essential Improvement.
