According to a recent survey, 56 percent of Indian companies are planning to increase the recruitment of Chartered Accountants (CA) and Company Secretaries (CS) in the coming time, showing strong corporate demand.
The survey shows a decline in hiring prospects for traditional technical and management fields, with the net hiring intent for engineers resting at -4 points and MBA hiring standing at -10 points.
According to data from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA Final registrations peaked at 1,32,007 in May 2017 but decreased to 99,466 by May 2025, and further dropped to 81,852 for the September 2025 exam.
