The Union Cabinet and CCEA meeting is expected to discuss increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for six crops, including wheat, barley, gram, lentil, mustard, and safflower, ahead of the 2027-28 Rabi sowing season.
Ahead of the festive season, millions of central government employees and pensioners are expecting a 3% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), which could significantly raise monthly salaries and pensions.
