Shopkeeper Killed Over Hajmola Dispute in Patna

•A ward member and grocery shop owner, Kariman Saw, was stabbed to death with scissors following a dispute over Hajmola in Jamalpur village, Patna.
•The incident occurred around 1 PM on Wednesday when an accused visited the shop and an argument broke out over a minor issue.
•Villagers quickly reached the spot after hearing about the attack, apprehended the suspect, and handed him over to the police.
•The deceased was also the ward member of ward number 11 in Akhtiyarpur Manjhauli panchayat.
•Paliganj DSP Pankaj Kumar Sharma stated that a police investigation is underway to uncover the exact motive and sequence of events.

A minor dispute arose between a shopkeeper and a customer over giving Hajmola, which escalated into a fatal attack.

The victim was Kariman Saw, a grocery shopkeeper who also served as a ward member of ward number 11 in Akhtiyarpur Manjhauli panchayat.

Following the attack, villagers rushed to the spot, helped catch the alleged accused, and subsequently handed him over to the police.
