The News18 UP Mega Survey indicates that the BJP-led NDA holds a clear lead, with 66.6% of respondents stating they would vote for the alliance and expecting them to form the government again in the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Additionally, 65.5% of respondents feel the BJP should be given the opportunity to form the government for a third consecutive term.
Among the seven evaluated governance criteria, law and order received the highest satisfaction rating at 74%, followed by infrastructure at 68.6% and welfare schemes at 66.3%. Conversely, employment recorded the lowest satisfaction level at only 58.3%, dropping even lower among unemployed respondents and vulnerable groups.
Yogi Adityanath received a clear preference as the next Chief Minister, with 66.2% of respondents naming him as their choice. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav was favored by 24.4% of respondents.
