Prem Keetanu Review: Veer Pahariya's Boyish Charm, Aafiya Sayed's Natural Ease Impress
- •Prem Keetanu is a coming-of-age romantic comedy exploring college life, first love, heartbreak, and the confusion of growing up, leaning into the messy chaos of youth.
- •Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film stars Veer Pahariya as Vishal, a carefree student, and Aafiya Sayed as Suhani, with Aparshakti Khurana as the rival Ranjeet.
- •Veer Pahariya delivers a surprisingly strong performance, balancing Vishal's goofy, romantic, and vulnerable sides without making him irritating, especially in scenes with friends.
- •Aafiya Sayed brings freshness and realism to Suhani, though her character could have been more developed beyond the romantic rivalry.
- •While the film's soundtrack is a weak point, Prem Keetanu succeeds in its relatable themes and allows its young protagonists to be foolish and dramatic, making for an enjoyable watch.
