Key Questions Answered

The Enforcement Directorate alleged that companies involved in supplying adulterated ghee worth Rs 234.5 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams undertook hawala transactions to launder illicit funds and cover up their fraudulent operations.

The ED named Bhole Baba Organic Dairymilk with promoters Vipin Jain and Pomil Jain, Sri Vyshnavi Dairy Specialities, and Sukriti Foods with promoter Kailash Chand Mangla alongside their family members.

The ghee was manufactured by blending refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, and palmolein with chemicals like monoglycerides and acetic acid ester, then falsely recorded through fictitious purchases and sales to project a genuine dairy operation.
