Key Questions Answered

The court questioned why Yuvraj Manchanda's body was cremated along with his personal belongings and why an executive magistrate was not informed about the inquest proceedings for the unidentified body. Additionally, the judge raised concerns over the delayed uploading of details on ZIPNET, the absence of postmortem videography, and the failure to preserve viscera.

Delhi Police arrested Manchanda's former colleague Anya Vats and her partner Sanyam Sachdeva from Kaichi Dham in Uttarakhand on September 16. Investigators alleged that Manchanda was murdered on September 6 following a dispute over money, and his body was dumped in a sewer after being driven around Gurugram for two days.

The family did not approach the police until September 11 because the accused allegedly used Manchanda's phone to send messages to his relatives, creating the false impression that he was still alive. Meanwhile, the Badshahpur police had already cremated his body as an unidentified person on September 14.
