Key Questions Answered
For the General/EWS category, candidates must score at least 262 marks out of 720 to meet the qualifying requirement. The qualifying score is set at 226 for SC, ST, and OBC category candidates, and 244 marks for General/Ews candidates under the PwD category.
The individual scorecards and answer keys for the NEET PG 2026 examination are scheduled to become available from October 1 through the official NBEMS applicant login portal.
The qualifying cutoff establishes the minimum percentile and marks required simply to qualify for the admission process and participate in counselling. In contrast, the admission cutoff reflects the closing rank or score at which a particular medical seat is actually secured during counselling.
