  • •NBFC Account Aggregators will become interoperable, allowing users to pull financial data across different aggregators from a single platform.
  • •SEBI-regulated depositories will now be able to include bank deposit account information in their Consolidated Account Statements.
  • •A new Technical Consultative Committee for Financial Markets will be formed to provide a structured forum for engagement between the RBI and market stakeholders.

Key Questions Answered

The RBI is making NBFC Account Aggregators interoperable, which means a customer using a single Account Aggregator will be able to aggregate financial information available through other Account Aggregators rather than relying on separate systems.

Both measures regarding Account Aggregator interoperability and the inclusion of deposit accounts in Consolidated Account Statements are scheduled to be implemented by December 31, 2026.

The RBI is creating this committee to provide a structured forum for engagement between the central bank, market participants, and stakeholders to address rapidly evolving financial-market dynamics, policy matters, and operational challenges.
