Polling for the Tamil Nadu byelections is being held in the Madurantakam and Dharapuram reserved Assembly constituencies.
The elections were necessitated because the former AIADMK MLAs, K Maragatham Kumaravel and P Satyabama, resigned from Madurantakam and Dharapuram before joining the ruling TVK.
