Spurious Liquor Worth Rs 15.60 Lakh Seized in Nagpur En Route to Gadchiroli

•Nagpur Crime Branch intercepted a truck carrying 39,000 bottles of spurious liquor, valued at Rs 15.60 lakh, intended for Gadchiroli.
•The illegal consignment was concealed under plastic scrap in a truck, which was also impounded and valued at Rs 13 lakh.
•Driver Abdul Tausif Abdul Hafiz (34) was arrested, while another accused, Ankush alias Anna Sudhakar Kuchanwar (38), is currently at large.
•The driver revealed the liquor consignment originated from Dhule and was destined for Gadchiroli.
•Excise officials confirmed the liquor was spurious, leading to a case registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

According to the driver, the illicit consignment originated from Dhule and was intended to be delivered to Gadchiroli.

The truck driver, identified as Abdul Tausif Abdul Hafiz (34), was arrested by the police during the operation.
