Key Questions Answered
Robust profit growth and adequate internal cash generation prompted Moneyview to reduce its public offer size. MD and CEO Puneet Agrawal explained that the company's strong consistent profit trajectory, including about Rs 400 crore of profit after taxes before exceptional items in FY26, meant it had sufficient cash to continue its growth plans without raising the larger amount of fresh capital initially envisaged.
Moneyview fixed a price band of Rs 32 to Rs 34 per equity share for its Rs 1,092-crore Initial Public Offering. The public subscription will open on September 24 and close on September 28, with shares expected to list on the NSE and BSE on October 1.
Out of the Rs 750 crore proceeds from the fresh issue, approximately 75 per cent will be used to grow the lending business. The remaining capital will be allocated toward new products, technology, artificial intelligence, and IT infrastructure to support the company's expansion into home loans, investments, and insurance.
